Our Work in Action
Strategy Tools co-designed and co-led the world’s first Cluster Manager Accelerator Program, a one-week, in-person initiative for European clean tech cluster managers. The program extensively utilized the Strategy Tools Supercluster Toolkit and the Supercluster! simulation, guiding participants through advanced, design-thinking processes tailored for clusters. This groundbreaking program led to multiple follow-up engagements across Europe, further strengthening the cluster management capabilities in the clean tech sector.
Strategy Tools collaborated with the State of Queretaro, Mexico, to develop its innovation clusters through a multi-year, 100% digital program. The initiative included a self-paced Global Cluster Leadership Program followed by live digital workshops on cluster strategy and leadership. This advanced-level program significantly improved the quality of the state’s innovation clusters, leading to recognition and awards for participating clusters.
Strategy Tools conducted a high-impact strategy workshop for the Board of Directors and management team of a Norwegian innovation cluster, using the Supercluster! Simulation to teach key principles of cluster strategy. This session was part of a broader multi-year cluster development program, combining strategic canvases with simulations. The workshop engaged 18 board members and led to ongoing strategic work with the cluster team, setting the foundation for long-term cluster growth and success.
